About Iain
Iain Currie is a father, husband, lawyer, small business owner, and university instructor. He was born and raised in Kamloops and returned to his hometown after law school to take a job as a Crown prosecutor. He stayed in that role for nearly two decades, prosecuting some of the most high-profile cases in the province before leaving for private practice in 2017. He met his wife Lisa on the job in 2016 when he was prosecuting a murder case in which she was an expert witness as a forensic pathologist.
Iain is active in his community. He can be found volunteering at the Farmers’ Market most Saturdays and proudly helped to organize rallies in support of health care workers at the height of the pandemic.
